Grub by default is unprotected.

Edit boot string to log in to single user mode:

This is an email reply written to a good friend of mine in a debate about wiretapping.

Look at it from a grander view from outside the box. If I want to start controlling your life I’m not just going to pas a bill that allows me to come in your house monitor your credit card transactions implant a micro chip in your hand and wiretap your phones all at once. I’m going to slowly get you used to the idea that I’m protecting you against a greater harm. By letting me listen to your calls I’ll provide you with a safer environment to live in. Once you accept that and don’t worry you will. Just look at everybody around you. Most Americans will agree that wiretapping is not so bad. Great now we got step one out of the way.

Since I’m already taping your phone next I’m going to start installing security cameras in public places. Not in your home oh no much too soon for that. You don’t have a problem being seen and recorded in public and why should you. Your not doing anything bad. It’s not going to be hard selling this to most people because they have nothing to worry about.

Here’s what I’m going to do next since I have a record of all of your phone conversations and I can pretty much monitor what you are doing outside of your home. I’m next going to require that all of your electronic communication be stored and scanned. Again something that is only as intrusive as the wiretapping which you were OK with. The reason I’m going to start doing this is because hardly anybody uses their wired phone anymore, most Americans communicate online.

Good so far I have: audio, video and email.

After this I will set up centralized security tracking stations. Nothing too intrusive it will be like a little security gate at your apartment complex. Let me explain. This will protect you by ensuring that only people that live there and their family and friends have permission to enter. Yeah this might also tell me who is at home and when you are topically not at home. But I’m the government why would I care about stuff like that. I have terrorists to watch.

On to the next step: You know how Grocery Stores have that little discount card program you can easily sing up for with your social. Oh they don’t really need it but we like them to have it. Well here’s the deal I’m now not going to allow you to shop at any store unless you register there. That way I can see if you buy chemicals to build a bomb. No problem with that right if you are not a terrorist why would you care if the government knew that you are buying Kashis Cereal at Wall mart ?

OK next step. Since terrorism should be skyrocketing by this time I will implement a new plan where non-terrorists will have to register as a non terrorist and declare that they have never been affiliated with any. When you register you will receive a new US Citizen Non Terrorist verified ID that will include a microchip with all of your tracking statistics for: audio, video, speech recognition, social and information about all of the places where you are registered to: eat, work and reside. How is this different then your current id. Not very much different.

As you can see none of these protection techniques by themselves are a major privacy threat which is why they will be implemented one at a time. Once you get used to the upgrades. You will comply. The hardest part is getting you to accept the smallest compromise in trading your privacy for fake security.

None of the new laws that I have mentioned in here would require me to: “Have unlimited access to your home. Or place you under arrest without a warrant and hold you indefinitely.”(Although that has already been done: Search Google for: Search Without Warrant Due To Exigent Circumstance, Warrant less search, etc…)

In the future I the government and all of my law enforcers will have access to all of the following information about you centralized in a database:

What medication you are on.
What you buy at the grocery store.
When you are home and when you are not.
When you are at work and when you are not.
When you are in public on camera.
When you are on the phone.
How fast you are traveling.
Where you are going to.
What vehicle you are going there in.
How many vehicles you have registered.
How many places you frequent.
Your general roaming area.
Your habits: favorite color your favorite shirt, what you usually wear on Fridays, where you usually go on dates on Friday.
(I’ve already made Friday date day, Monday Family day and Sunday Church day.)
What you watch on TV.
How much time you spend watching TV.
How much time you spend online.

I want you to ask yourself the following questions:

1. What kind of intelligence is protecting this intelligence ?
2. Whom has to benefit from the collection of all of this data ?
3. What kind of world our children will grow up in if we fall for this ?

Let me show you what social programming has done for us so far:

Averages show that we all do the following activities daily:
Work: 8hr
Sleep: 8hr
Lunch: 1hr
Travel to and back from work: 30 min.

So you have 8+8+1+30 = 17:30hrs that will never EVER change Monday though Friday for the rest of your life.
That gives you 24-17:30 = 5:30hrs a day to do what you want.
So don’t look at your days as 24hrs periods because you are only alive for 5 hrs and 30 minutes Monday through Friday.

The average American watches TV for 4hrs each day (http://www.csun.edu/science/health/docs/tv&health.html). That means they only get 1hr and 30 minutes of self conscious live each day.

So we have to ask ourselves after all of this mental manipulation and control when do we say enough is enough. I believe that wiretapping my phone calls is only the beginning.

While the presumptive nominee is John McCain, Ron Paul is still
running and technically in the race to be the republican nominee -
just he and McCain on the Republican Side.
The mainstream media and traditional news outlets would like you to
believe Ron Paul has dropped out so they can continue with pushing the
“chosen ones” (please note that Obama, Hillary and Mccain are all
members of the CFR - so even though on the face each candidate may
have some subtle differences between them - they are of like mind and
embrace big government as the answer to all that ails us).

Interestingly enough Ron Paul came in second usually with 10% - 25% of
the vote in all of the recent Republican Primaries. This is without
any mainstream media coverage and the talking heads repeatedly telling
us Ron Paul has dropped out of the race.

Ron Paul will be holding a separate convention in Minneapolis during
the national Republican Convention in September. There will be tens
of thousands if not hundreds of thousands of Ron Paul supporters
there. Our purpose is to send a message to the Republican leadership
and party that they need to return to what made America great. Start
obeying the constitution. Stop outrageous spending in washington DC.
Stop unprovoked wars and stop invading other countries who have not
attacked us. Restore individual liberty and freedom in this country.
Restore sound currency to our system (no more fiat counterfeit Federal
Reserve Notes pawned off on the masses as if it were a solid
currency). Respect of private property rights. Reduce the size and
scope of the federal government back to its original core duties as
outlined in the Constitution.

Ron Paul is still in the race though it is very unlikely that he will
win the Republican nomination (unless mccain kicks the so called
bucket). If that unlikely scenario were to happen I strongly doubt
the Republican Party would even acknowledge Ron Paul as the only
candidate still in the race on the Republican side. They despise him
and his ideas of returning to our constitutional roots. The party’s
leaders and controllers are after power and maintaining that power as
long as they can. They do not seek to truly serve the people and they
certainly don’t uphold their oath of office. Mark my words - if
McCain were to suddenly drop out of the race today - it’s highly
unlikely they’d even talk about Ron Paul that much in the MSM. If
they did it would be a miracle. They’d be much more likely to start
calling Mitt Romney, Rudy G. or Mike Huckabee instead to ask them what
they will do.

With that said - this whole Ron Paul Revolution is a movement way
beyond the man Ron Paul. It is a movement that is growing every day
to raise awareness about he peril we all face if we let our nation
slip into the control of a few powerful men and groups which is
rapidly happening. We must work to take back positions in Congress,
the senate and every level of government in order to restore
Constitutional Principles once again in this country.

Ron Paul has awakened many millions of people in this country to the
ideas and principles that made this nation great.
That’s why Ron Paul is important. IF he were to miraculously get to
the whitehouse this nation and the world would prosper in a way not
seen since in many generations.
